I didn't forget, I was just so busy that things had to be postponed. My weight loss journey continues, even though it's much slower than I had originally anticipated...are you still out there?
Second week, same as the first
This week didn't quite go as planned, but then not everything goes exactly the way you want it. Seriously, had it gone any more wrong I might have just hidden under the covers for the rest of the year.
The second weigh-in
Dieting is not a way of life and it shouldn't be. What should be a way of life is making the best of what you have and if you aren't happy with it, making some changes. That's what I am doing right now...dieting certainly isn't my way forward.
Another Day One
Today was the first day for our weight loss plan at work. Weigh ins should not be traumatic and this wasn't anywhere near as bad as stepping on the scales at WW (where you pay for the privilege).
Let the madness commence
Christmas is about spending time with the family. But before I get to that bit of things it's about baking lots and lots of stuff for everyone to eat. Here's the first in my series of entries about my normal (though this year pared down) Christmas baking routine.
‘Tis the season to be baking…
Christmas comes but once a year, and for both my bank balance and the horrendous electricity bill that comes from spending hours toiling over a hot stove, I am incredibly grateful.
Soya Schmoya
I know that I can't be the only person who suffers from a soya allergy...so why is it that companies are ignoring the fact it's the 7th most common food allergy and making MORE food that contains it?
